Privacy policy
The Russian text is legally binding
This page is a plain-language summary for people who read English. The binding document — the policy published under Article 18.1 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” — is the Russian text at dony.live/privacy. If the two ever read differently, the Russian text controls.
Who we are
Dóny is a personal assistant by invitation. You talk to it in Telegram, at app.dony.live, and in the Telegram mini-app. Replies are drafted by a language model; our staff step in for anything the model cannot handle.
Operator: Individual entrepreneur Vashchenko Aleksei Sergeevich (INN 071513954665, OGRNIP 316774600187771). Contact for data-protection requests: hello@dony.live. Full legal details — address, the person responsible for processing — are in the Russian text.
What we collect and why
Your messages, voice notes, photos and documents you send the assistant; the name you ask it to call you; anything you explicitly ask it to remember; sign-in details for the web app (device, IP address, the public key of your passkey); and a search phrase the assistant composes when you ask it to search online. We do not use this for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train our own models. Voice notes and images are converted to text and are never used to identify you, so they are not biometric data; we do not process biometric data. No decision with legal effect for you is made by automated means alone: the assistant proposes, you decide.
Where your data is stored
Personal data is stored on rented (virtual) servers under the operator’s exclusive control in the Russian Federation and in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Part of users’ conversations and files is stored on the server in Kazakhstan; this is a cross-border transfer, made under Article 12 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ on the basis of your consent. Any change of storage location is published as a new revision of the policy, and a change of destination countries requires fresh consent.
Who else sees it
The language model that drafts replies is MiniMax, run by Nanonoble Pte. Ltd., Singapore; under the vendor’s privacy policy, data is stored in a data centre in the United States and may be processed by the vendor’s contractors in countries the vendor does not disclose. The United States is not recognised by the Russian regulator as ensuring adequate protection. Messages are passed to the model without anonymisation, only to the extent needed to reply. When you ask the assistant to search the web, the search phrase it composes goes to OpenRouter, Inc. and the search providers it calls, in the United States — a country not recognised by the Russian regulator as offering adequate protection. Partners who help fulfil a request (for example, a flight search) get only what the task needs — dates, cities, passenger count — never your name or the conversation.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent, and object to a decision based solely on automated processing — any time, by writing to hello@dony.live or through “My data” in the chat or the web app. We reply within 10 business days (up to 15 if we need more time, and we will say why).
Full detail — retention periods, security measures, the complete list of recipients — is in the Russian text.
